DECEMBER UPDATE
Sorry for not updating sooner but I have some big news:
Duke University Press is offering me a book contract to turn "Legions of Boom" into a formal book. Provided, it will be on an academic press (and therefore, academic) but this will give me the incentive and opportunity to do more research.
I'd especially like to talk to crews in any of the following areas: Vallejo, San Jose or Union City/Fremont since these were all gaps in my original research. 2006 will be a busy year with all this new research but it should hopefully be very worthwhile to helping broaden the scope of the history.
If you were part of a Filipino mobile crew in any of those cities, holler.
